Howdy all,

This week we're lucky enough to have the man, the myth, the legend:
Peter Fröhlich!
He'll be talking about the Go programming language - the blurb is below.
As always the talk will be in Malone 228 at 6:30 PM this Thursday.

Do you like derpy looking gophers
<https://blog.golang.org/gopher/usergroups.png>? If so then Go is the
language for you! Go is a language designed for developing applications
with high concurrency - think a webserver that needs to serve hundreds of
thousands of clients at the same time. However concurrency is not the same
thing as parallelism. Go routines offer a means to concurrency without
using nasty things like threads.

There will be milk and cookies :D

See you there!
